Hyper Speed ABS filament is tailored for use with the Hyper FFF® solution within the Hyper Speed filament line. Traditional ABS filament, when printed at high speeds, is rapidly fed into the heat block, giving the polymer little time to transition from a solid to a molten state. This can lead to nozzle clogging and poor layer bonding. Additionally, without a heated chamber, regular ABS filament is prone to warping and delamination during high-speed printing.

Hyper Speed ABS filament, with its optimized molecular weight and stiffness, enables printing speeds of up to 300 mm/s. Its faster melting and uniform cooling reduce temperature gradients and internal stress in printed parts. Hyper Speed ABS filament exhibits superior heat resistance compared to standard ABS filament. With minimal warping and enhanced layer adhesion, it is well-suited for functional prototyping, tools, and fittings. Furthermore, it offers various possibilities for post-processing and finishing methods, such as polishing and acetone vapor smoothing.
