Würth Additive Group PPA+GF15 – High-Temperature, Chemically Resistant Nylon for Extreme Industrial Environments

Würth PPA+GF15 is a 15% glass fiber-reinforced Polyphthalamide (PPA) filament designed for demanding structural applications that require exceptional mechanical performance, thermal stability, and chemical resistance. This material offers superior dimensional stability and strength across a wide temperature range, making it a true engineering-grade solution for aerospace, automotive, and industrial manufacturing environments.

Engineered for high heat applications, PPA+GF15 delivers:

  • Glass Transition Temperature (Tg): 125°C

  • Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT): 260°C

  • Melting Temperature (Tm): 305°C

These values surpass the thermal performance of many high-end polymers, including ULTEM™ PEI, making Würth PPA+GF15 an excellent candidate for components exposed to continuous high heat, load, and chemically aggressive conditions.
