17-4PH stainless steel powder is a precipitation-hardening stainless steel material used in metal additive manufacturing when a combination of strength, corrosion resistance, and heat-treatment response is required. This material is commonly selected for aerospace, space, industrial, petrochemical, chemical processing, tooling, and validated medical-device development environments.
This material is supplied as gas-atomized metal powder with a nominal 15–45 µm particle size distribution. This powder is suitable for laser powder bed fusion and related metal additive manufacturing applications.
