Inconel 718 Nickel Alloy Powder (15-45 µm)
A precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium superalloy engineered for demanding additive manufacturing applications where strength, corrosion resistance, and thermal stability are non-negotiable. Inconel 718 maintains exceptional mechanical performance from cryogenic temperatures up to 1,300°F (700°C), making it the go-to material for aerospace turbine components, oil & gas downhole tooling, high-performance motorsport assemblies, and chemical processing parts.
This 15-45 µm particle size distribution is optimized for laser powder bed fusion (LPBF / SLM) systems, delivering excellent flowability, consistent layer deposition, and high as-built density. Each lot is gas-atomized for high sphericity, low oxygen and nitrogen content, and minimal satellites — yielding repeatable print quality and superior part properties straight off the build plate.
Key Properties
- Excellent tensile, fatigue, and creep-rupture strength at elevated temperatures
- Outstanding corrosion and oxidation resistance
- Weldable and post-processable (HIP, solution + age heat treatment)
- Conforms to AMS 5662 / AMS 5663 chemistry for printed and aged condition
